How Happy Tails & Chloe Trails got started
I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always the kid who stopped to pet every dog on the block, memorized every breed, and begged my parents for one of my own. When I finally got my dog, I realized I wanted to spend every possible moment with animals.
In high school, I started walking dogs for neighbors as a way to earn some money — and I quickly realized this wasn't just a side gig. I genuinely cared about every dog I looked after. I learned their quirks, their favorite routes, which ones needed a slow morning walk and which ones wanted to sprint the whole way.
Happy Tails & Chloe Trails grew from word-of-mouth because I treated every dog like my own. I'm not a big company — I'm your neighbor, and I take that seriously.
